Dr. Joy Zasadny
Doctor of Chiropractic
Joy has had a lifelong commitment to public service which continues to motivate her today. Community involvement through service as a healthcare provider has been her dream, and the uniqueness of the Chiropractic profession is allowing her to realize that dream. She began her undergraduate work in Dubuque, Iowa and Melbourne, Florida, finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science at Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee. Joy graduated from Northwestern Health Science University in 2007 as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Joy has been doing art for many years, and considers it her passion as well as her form of healing relaxation. During her college career she enjoyed drawing, painting, and pottery. Following graduation she completed a six month thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Rock climbing, hiking, skiing, fishing, dog sledding and canoeing are among her interests, though surfing on Lake Superior is her newest sporting challenge. Joy takes pleasure in a wide variety of activities, but draws inspiration, as well as materials, from her great love for the outdoors. She is motivated and awed by the wonders God has created and this can be seen in her unique art form on display and available for sale in the office.
